Great games can come in tiny boxes. Even EPIC games can come in tiny boxes! This game day (March 2019) was dedicated to games that take up minimal shelf space, but still deliver a fun experience.
Closed Drafting, Hand Management, Set Collection and Simultaneous Action Selection
Notes from Rebecca
This game showed up on my doorstep one day (years ago) and I still haven't the slightest idea who sent it. I questioned several suspects who all denied having anything to do with the game's arrival. Whoever sent it: I love this game. I love drafting games like 7 Wonders, and this one adds on a theme that I adore. It makes me happy. We played this a few times on game day.
Area Movement, Dice Rolling, Modular Board and Push Your Luck
Notes from Rebecca
I played this once on game day, but a couple people played it multiple times. It was so much fun! The ITEMeeples are fantastic. I loved equipping weapons and armor to my meeple! I loved puzzling out my moves in an attempt to do ALL THE THINGS.
Area Majority / Influence, Cooperative Game, Dice Rolling, Modular Board, Pick-up and Deliver, Push Your Luck, Semi-Cooperative Game, Solo / Solitaire Game, Team-Based Game and Variable Player Powers
Notes from Rebecca
I loved this game so much! It was the first thing I played on this game day and my first experience playing with ITEMeeples. SO EPIC. It's the only game I got photos of that day, too! If you like running around trying to survive zombies and looking for goods and weapons, play it.
