Thank you for visiting my site and checking out the content I have here. Gaming is a big passion of mine. I love interacting with the community, meeting new people, and learning new things. I love introducing people to the hobby and using games in an educational capacity in my library job. One of the results of all that passion is this website.

I share gaming and library resources I’ve created, as well as links to resources/blogs of others; I follow-up on my gaming group’s theme days with my Game Day posts; I introduce crafty gamers who create great projects for their games in the DIY Crafty Gamer series; I do previews and reviews of games; and I share my thoughts on various topics relevant to the gaming community.

If you would like to support my work, there are several ways of doing so.

In addition to this website, you can find me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, BoardGameGeek. I love interacting with the gaming and library communities, so stop by and drop me a line!

This is one of the most important things you can do because it introduces more people to what I do. You can share my work across social media, email, or even word of mouth. If you see me at a con, ask me for some business cards if there are people you’d like to pass them on to.

If you know of someone who would be a great person for me to interview for the DIY Crafty Gamer series, please give them my info so they can submit their projects. I am always looking for new project submissions. Projects do NOT have to be professional in nature. I want to see gamers who are passionate about enhancing their gaming experience by creating things (terrain, props, mini painting, dice towers, digital aids/cards/etc., accessories… you name it), no matter their craft skill level.

If you’ve enjoyed my work and are able to put some cash in the tip jar, you can buy me a coffee or PayPal me. Tips help keep the site going, help keep the content coming.

There are several products over on RedBubble that show off the To Play Is Human and Playability logos: t-shirts, stickers, tote bags, coffee mugs, and more! A small portion of each sale of To Play Is Human items comes back to me to use for maintaining the website. There is no profit on Playability items.
