Our game collection is housed in our basement. Games are often played up on the main floor of the house because of the natural lighting and the gaming table in the dining room (sadly the table couldn’t make it down the stairs to the basement when they moved!), but on busy game days, we also play in the basement. You can get a 360° view of the game shelving area here. I also wrote about how we organize our shelves (and asked others how they organize their own!).

2 tall, wide bookcases flank a shorter shelf that has cube shelving. The right bookcase houses gamebooks and RPG books. The left bookcase houses dice, games with tin boxes, and other small gaming related trinkets. The central shelf houses gaming books, small chests with games inside, and the Invisible Sun Black Cube. Above the central shelf is a metal art piece (a series of hexagons in dark colors).

We received a Geek Chic Emissary table as a wedding gift from Greg’s parents. A TON of gaming happens at this table. For almost a year and a half, a weekly Gloomhaven campaign lived in the table vault. This table is also where our RPG groups meet for D&D and Invisible Sun.
